Located in the arrival hall, a 3-meter-tall adorable seagull is the mascot of Da Nang International Terminal. Its large size and joyful expressions make it a favorite photo spot for passengers of all ages.
Besides, Helpy is also the first airport’s mascot in Vietnam, making it a unique icon when visiting this coastal city. Beyond being a symbol of our terminal, Helpy also carries special meanings, representing the hospitality spirit and culture of Da Nang International Terminal.

2. The water fountain, a perfect place for artistic shots
The fountain amidst the lush green garden will be an attractive setting for travel photographers. The ideal time for snapping photos here is during the early morning, when the soft light perfectly blends with the flowing water, creating a picturesque and beautiful scene that is indescribable by words.
Note: As it is located in the car park area, pay attention to the traffic to ensure safety while taking photos here.
3. The green walkway to the terminal entrance

4. Color-changing globe which greets passengers in 10 different languages
Right next to the entrance, you’ll easily spot a giant glowing globe with continuously changing colors. It is also one of the perfect spots to take a photo, no matter the day or night. What makes it even more special is that the surface of the globe is engraved with greetings in 10 different languages, providing a welcoming atmosphere for travelers from around the world.

This store is located on the second floor within the restricted area. 3. Lantern displays, which mirrors the colors of Da Nang and Hoi An
With their enchanting design and lively colors, these lantern displays promise picture-perfect moments, no matter where your camera points. Curious about their locations? Depending on whether you find yourself in the arrival or departure hall, you can spot these captivating displays here:
- Spot 1: Right by the arrival gate conveyor belt (for arrivals in Da Nang)
- Spot 2: Inside the shopping area hallway (for departures from Da Nang)
4. CIP Lounge, where every corner can become a stylish photo corner
What you can find here is an elegant and luxurious atmosphere adorned with perfect lighting tailor-made for photography enthusiasts. It’s the ideal spot for capturing those moments of comfort and style, where you can strike a pose in a relaxed manner or soak in the tranquil ambiance that fills the air. Whether you prefer a casual or chic vibe, the CIP Lounge is the perfect setting for turning your spare time into unforgettable memories.
There are three CIP lounges inside the terminal:
- CIP 1 – For departing passengers: right wing of the mezzanine level in the restricted area, Terminal 2.
- CIP 2 – For departing passengers: left wing of the mezzanine level in the restricted area, Terminal 2.
- CIP 3 – For arriving passengers: near the conveyor belt.
5. Heritage Road, where you can capture the sound of locals
If you’re flying on Thursdays or Saturdays between 10 PM and 11 PM, be sure to catch the Heritage Road program in the restricted area. Here, you can immerse yourself in the live performances and capture various cultural aspects of the local regions.

6. Terminal’s windows
The massive windows in the airport’s terminal are always among the top unmissable photo spots for travelers. Bathed in natural light, these windows elevate the ambiance, particularly during the enchanting transition between different moments of the day.
7. Skyward crystal fishes, the sculptures of light
Before you board and while you’re in the waiting area, make sure to pause and capture a photo of the “Fish Sculptures in the Sky.” These blue and white sculptures reflect natural light, causing their colors to shift with the time of day. However, be prepared for a photography challenge, as it is not easy to capture the true beauty of these aerial fishes.
8. Boarding tunnel
Here lies the ideal location to capture the excitement right before your flight. You may need to queue in the tunnel for a while, so let’s take this opportunity to snap a photo with your boarding pass, suitcase, or any other props you may have on hand.
Note: While embracing the moment, be mindful not to prolong your poses excessively to ensure you are not causing any inconvenience to fellow passengers.
